SHRINE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

COVID-19 Update from the shrine

Message from Fr. Bryan Cunningham
Dear Schoenstatt Family and friends:

Bishop John Arnold, following the direction of the Prime Minister, has instructed all churches in the Diocese of Salford to be closed until further notice.

This means that the Shrine will remain locked until the restrictions are lifted.  All masses, meetings and retreats have been canceled at St John Fisher’s Parish until further notice. Fr Reginald and I are allowed to continue celebrating Mass in private with no congregation for the Parish and the Schoenstatt Movement. We will celebrate the prayer of Christ and the gift of the Eucharist especially spiritually for the Body of Christ. “We will say holy Mass with you in mind and bring your intentions before the Lord”.

You can send us mass intentions by email and we’ll have you in our prayers.

I invite you to join us for a Facebook Live-Stream Mass with Fr Andrew Pastore who has live- streaming of his Friday Mass 9.00am and Sunday Mass 10.00am (BST):
