When Father Kentenich started with young people in 1914, he dreamed of a group of Apostles of the Covenant of Love who wanted to reach out into the world and bring the Good News about Christ. They gave their hearts and their lives to Mary to win the world for Christ. First and foremost they were evangelisers! Following the example of the first disciples that first generation in Schoenstatt   “immediately left their nets and followed” Jesus who invited them to become Apostles. Father Kentenich wanted to renew the Church and help create a better world by forming a school of intentional discipleship. This journey of faith was a constant search for the ‘open door’ asking the question: “Father God, what do you want me to do today?” In a search for the ‘traces of God’s presence’ in our lives we simply seek to live our everyday prayer – “Thy will be done”. The hallmark of our faith and our lives is that we more and more become communicators of a Covenant Culture of Encounter. In the “Dragons Den” we hear the phrase “I’m in” when one of the panel is committed to a project. Our invitation to you  today is to commit to learn and grown into an apostle of the Covenant – joining with Mary we wish to encounter Jesus and follow the road of intentional discipleship. Joining our Holy Father Pope Francis we want to entrust the fate of the world and the journey of its people into the heart of the Immaculate Virgin Mary. Pope Francis has asked for the original statue of Our Lady of Fatima to be brought to Rome and on the 13th of October 2013 he will consecrate the world to Mary Mother of God and our mother. Pius XII first entrusted to world in the dark days of the Second World War and Bl. Pope John Paul II consecrated the world to Mary in the Marian Year 1984. We trust that our God is a Father who keeps his promises. We look forward to seeing you on the day
