As you know, in 1998 Pope John Paul II called all the Ecclesial Movements and Communities to Rome to celebrate the Feast of Pentecost together. He called all the movements to a new level of Christian maturity and to work together for the good of the Church.
Over the years leaders of the different movements have been meeting in the UK and building relationships. Now for the first time we are all working together to hold a special big event “Many Streams, One River” which will take place at the Methodist Central Hall, near Westminster Abbey on Saturday 9th November. The day starts at 10.30 and finishes at 5pm. This promises to be a very exciting and historic event at which Cardinal Cormac and Archbishop Vincent Nichols will be among the speakers and will be a day of testimonies, witness, music, drama, prayer and talks. More information about the Day can be obtained from the website www.manystreamsoneriver.org
