Memorial Mass for Paul Barnes RIP at the Shrine

by Fr. Bryan Cunningham on 09/05/2018

Dear Friends

Following the interment of the ashes of Paul Barnes we want to celebrate Mass at the Shrine on Saturday 16th June 2018 at 5.00pm. This will be followed by a light supper and refreshments in the Hall.

Clare and Sheila,  and all the Barnes family would like to invite you to this Mass and time to get together again after. You may want to let Clare know if you are coming if you know in advance that you intend to come on the day. Clare can then have a better idea of numbers to cater for.

May Paul now rest in peace and in the Hope of the Lord.
God Bless
Fr Bryan

Taste and See Mass on Mercy Sunday 8th April 2018

by Fr. Bryan Cunningham on 07/04/2018

You are invited on Mercy Sunday to celebrate Taste and See Family Mass at the Shrine this Sunday 8th April 2018. We begin with Mass at 3.30pm and will conclude with a shared meal. St John Paul II said in his first sermon to mark Mercy Sunday:

The Heart of Christ!
His “Sacred Heart” has given men everything: redemption, salvation, sanctification. Saint Faustina Kowalska saw coming from this Heart that was overflowing with generous love, two rays of light which illuminated the world.

Through the mystery of this wounded Heart, the restorative tide of God’s merciful love continues to spread over the men and women of our time. Here alone can those who long for true and lasting happiness find its secret.

“Jesus, I trust in You!”
This prayer, dear to so many of the devout, clearly expresses the attitude with which we too would like to abandon ourselves trustfully in Your hands, 0 Lord, our only Savior.

Staying in the loop

by Fr. Bryan Cunningham on 11/03/2018
Dear Friends
Anne Ostmeier has written to me following our meeting Into My Vineyard yesterday and we want to improve our contacts and set up again our contacts data base. Please find the invitation below and contact Sharron with information of those who would like to be included on our address list. As you know many things change quickly in the digital age and we do not want to loose contact with you. We want to send out invitations to the Father Kentenich Seminar(April 28th) and to the May Day (May 12th). Please help us build up the network again. Thank you.

We are doing a review of contacts  for our Schoenstatt family to ensure that everyone receives news and invitations to events etc. If you know of anyone, especially those who we haven’t seen for a while and you think they would like to be included, please could you send their name, address and email address to Sharron Walsh ( sharronwalsh84@gmail.com)
Many thanks
Anne Ostmeier
