May Day 2019

Mary Missionary Disciple: Our pilgrimage to the Shrine in May has this theme. We are following the pilgrimage many made on Saturday 4th May 2019 to Walsingham with the Diocese of Salford. Paul Cooper will introduce the Schoenstatt – Walsingham link. Konrad Ostmeier will invite us to share how this link affects us in our lives and in our spirituality. Fr Bryan has been invited to consider the link to New Nazareth for England. Living our covenant of love, each of us is invited to respond to the universal call to holiness, of which we were reminded by Pope Francis in his recent writing Gaudete et Exultate. Furthermore Pope Francis invites us to put this into practice in his most recent letter Christ is Alive. We too are called to be missionary disciples. Our May Day on Saturday 11th May start at 1.30pm with talks and workshops and a programme for children. Mass will be at 5.15pm. You are invited to attend and we look forward to seeing you.
